Working in Forest and Gleaning Fields

The cliff that collapsed at Sataf

If you want to know how to build a wall – ask CAARI.  On Tuesday, we visited the ancient JNF /KKL Restored agricultural forest – Sataf.  CAARI’s project was to trim olive trees and rebuild or repair one of the stone terraces that had been washed away.  After – we all enjoyed a picnic lunch overlooking the picturesque valley.
Fortified with food and energy CAARI is off to picking fruit for the underprivileged with Project Leket! see next post!

Getting to the terrace was a bit of a hike
