Shalom CAARI friends and family!

Another day of visiting special sites, off the beaten track.  We began our day in mystical Tsfat where we met with Noa who explained the non-profit organization, Livnot U’lehibanot.

Located in a corner of the Old Jewish Quarter of Tzfat, there is a Jewish Experience Program like no other. Livnot U’Lehibanot, “To Build and Be Built” was established in 1980 to give young Jewish adults an opportunity to explore their Jewish heritage on their own terms, through experiences and hands-on activities.

Amazing what they have found and dug for the past 20 years.  We climbed up and down steps to see the finds of homes and a bakery from the 16th century.

After, we had time for some shopping in the artist quarter and a ‘simple’ lunch.

From there we drove the charming home for a private piano concert, by Yitzhak Tavior!  Great way to end the day!

The CAARI Program includes community service, toursa speakers forum and the camaraderie of the CAARI Family.
