Community Service, Shuni and lecture on Bauhaus Architecture – January 28

Another rainy which does not interfere with our community service.  Each day we enjoy the children, the clients at the Rehab and the flowers.  Although, we do not work outside, we work inside and the international seed project.  In the afternoon we were supposed to pick fruit for the needy, but too muddy.  Susan and Neill changed some days around and after lunch we visited Shuni, which is an archaeological site, a sculptor exhibit and the training grounds of the Etzel.

In the evening Talia spoke to us about Bauhaus architecture.   This part of a 2 part series. Later in the week, she will take us on a walking tour of Tel Aviv.  So, many interesting programming with the CAARI Program!

The Canadian American Active Retirees in Israel, CAARI, offers active seniors a unique opportunity to experience Israel. The program is designed to explore the biblical landscapes, follow the footsteps of the early pioneers, and envision the future of our Homeland. The CAARI Program includes community service, toursa speakers forum and the camaraderie of the CAARI Family. The Program is designed for to feel, touch, hear and see Israel from the mountains to the desert, from sea to sea, and from ancient to modern.
