We hear all the time, why doesn’t Israel promote the fantastic work they do in technology – well, they do. This amazing Center is not to be missed. The Center is located in the heart of Tel Aviv in the Stock Exchange’s newly renovated building.
Israel is widely known as the “Start-up Nation” and is recognized as a major player in the fields of innovation, R & D and entrepreneurship. Taglit-Birthright Israel built the “State of Mind” Innovation Center in partnership with The Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange. The exciting and cutting-edge Innovation Center allows you to learn about the new advancements Israeli Start-Ups are making in different fields, such as science, medicine, security, space and more. The guide we had was fantastic, knowledgeable, energetic and proud of Israel’s accomplishments.
The exhibition was divided into various groups, agriculture, Science, Safety and Security, Transportation, Health and Space. You may be familiar with some of the Start Up’s. All we can say is WOW – very impressive!

The world’s most advance mobile air defense system, developed by Rafael. Since 2011, it safeguarded all of Israel from hostile rockets. The exhibit features a marvelous miniature model.Cyber. Check Point’s next generation digital security system against cyber-attacks. Preventing information leaks or hacking, and protecting private users, industries and governments.JHMCS II helmet. Developed by Elbit, an innovative head-tracking helmet for pilots, allowing them to easily and precisely aim and target in whatever direction they are looking.Hermes 9000. The future of combat is in the sky, using unmanned drones. This drone – developed by Elbit – can collect intelligence and target hostiles with maximum safety and efficiency.
ReWalk. Wearable robotic exoskeleton that enables individuals with spinal cord injury to once again stand and walk.SoftWheel. Revolutionary wheel for wheelchairs that can go down the stairs easily, or maneuver through rocky and uneven terrains while absorbing most of the shock.OrCam. Using special AI glasses that vocalize written texts and translate objects into sound, blind or visually impaired people are now able to read and recognize objects, faces and more.Pillcam. A tiny camera in a capsule. After being swallowed by a patient, it travels within his/her body while revealing any abnormalities and supplying essential medical diagnosis.
