We find our CAARI participants are extraordinary people, dedicated to many causes in Israel.  Each of them supports the country in their own way,  whether it is planting trees, volunteering their time to the  many organizations associated with Israel’s society or giving to many Israeli organizations, like JNF, the Guide Dog School, or MDA, Magan David Adom, just to name a few.

Over the years, CAARI participants have been joined in several of the dedications and this year witnessed a special dedication by Marilyn Takefman who dedicated a ambulance motor scooter in memory of her late husband and brother.

This piece of equipment is amazing and so needed to get through narrow streets and heavy traffic.  Kol Hakavod Marilyn and thank you for letting us be part of this special dedication.

The Canadian American Active Retirees in Israel, CAARI, offers active seniors a unique opportunity to experience Israel. The CAARI Program includes community service, toursa speakers forum and the camaraderie of the CAARI Family. The Program is designed for to feel, touch, hear and see Israel from the mountains to the desert, from sea to sea, and from ancient to modern.
